More Magazines Shut Down

leave a comment »

Today I heard on the news that four more magazines  had to shut down. This time it was a magazine called Gourmet. This magazine was being shut down after 70 years in business. They feel that more people get information through the internet, than from the printed magazine. What does this mean for the future? Will we still need printed magazines, or will the press be all online? It maybe a good thing because we are trying to grow green and make a better environment. However, some people do not own the internet, and we are in tough times. A magazine has this reputation of going from one person to the next and is not owned by one person. Will this make more individuals clueless?
