Mercedes Commercial: Beauty and Brains

Our society has been conditioned to think of blonds as typically less intelligent than others. Especially blond women. This commercial could have used a male brunette to get the point across just the same, but Mercedes chose to cast an attractive blond-haired woman for the role, knowing that viewers would make the connection to the stereotype of a dumb blond.  To me they are basically saying that beauty means nothing without brains when it comes to cars, just like women.
