Reality sets in for “reality” stars

I don’t know about you, but I’ve just about had it with anything having to do with the entire Gosselin disaster.  I’m sorry Kate, but the reason your kids are devastated is not because the show is over and the camera crew is gone.  They’re devastated because they have a mother who cares way too much about herself and a father who dates girls half his age.  My heart really goes out to the Gosselin children.  Being one of five children, I can understand how living with a big family can be chaotic and can definitely impact a person’s upbringing.  Add three more kids to that, a camera crew, and an entire world watching…it’s no wonder Jon and Kate couldn’t handle it and the kids are crying in the van on the way home.  I personally think the whole thing is just bad parenting.  When has being on a reality show ever really benefitted anybody?  Then again, Kate got her fame and Jon got his girl.  I guess to them deciding to be on the show was a great move.
