A Relief From the Usual Reality TV Show

I keep seeing this commercial on MTV. My suitemates and I cannot stop talking about how excited we are to see the season premiere of “The Buried Life.”  I think that it’s nice to finally see a reality TV show that is doing something good for the community. The show is about four friends that created a list of 100 things that they want to do before they die. Every time they do something on their list, they help a stranger with their list. When they go to each place, they ask, “What do you want to do, before you die?” An example they show in the trailer is giving MAC computers to a school that is less fortunate.  MTV is finally showing young people in a positive limelight, and not just people who solely care about getting drunk.

I like it how this reality TV show is different. It is not about finding your “true love,” having sex, or partying until you vomit. It is rewarding to see four best friends having a great time, traveling the world, and helping out others all at the same time. Thank you MTV for giving us a decent show to watch!
