For many people Tigers scandal is a turnoff and morally wrong and companies like Gatorade will look to please the public by removing any connections with Tiger. If a commercial for Gatorade comes on T.V., and Tiger Woods walks on the screen and takes a sip, a person watching will most likely only think about his negative image as of late. When they watch him take a sip and use a Gatorade product, they may consciously connect the two and become angered towards Gatorade and decide to no longer purchase that product. This shows how the media’s coverage of a player can affect other outlets like advertising.
