Last night, the American Hockey Team defeated team Canada in a much surprised upset.  There was much hype going into the game, and then NBC dropped the ball, or the puck in this matter.  The game was scheduled for 7:45 P.M. and even ESPN did they’re part to hype up the game.  Instead of putting the game on NBC in hi definition, they chose to put the game on the standard definition MSNBC channel.  On NBC, they put on Ice Dancing which wasn’t even in a medal round.  Let’s be honest, these olympic games haven’t been that great at all, and the one game that everyone in North America is looking forward to isn’t even available to everyone who owns television sets.  NBC could have really made up for some poor ratings by putting the game on their main network.  I’m sure there were some people that couldn’t even find the game on MSNBC.  It simply was poor planning on the half of NBC executives.  The following article explains it all.
