Social Media Revolution

leave a comment »

In class, we are constantly discussing the influence that social media has on our everyday life.  Immediately after watching this particular YouTube video, I  was able to relate  the video clip to different things we spoke about in class… and thought it would be interesting to share this video with all of you.  This YouTube clip is called “Social Media Revolution”, and it talks about the role that social media plays in today’s world.  It was produced by the author of a book titled “Socialnomics”.  In the video we learn that social media is not just a fad, but in fact a revolution.  We are given social media statistics , and provided with some ridiculous facts and figures that are hard to ignore!!  Watching this video made me really consider how much social media has progressed over the years!  I can only imagine what the years to come have in store for us…
