DNA Based Dating

with one comment

We are all aware of eHarmony or other dating sites that claim to find you your perfect match by using some sort of personality test. Recently there has been a new form of online dating where you aren’t matched upon your personality but by your DNA.

ScientificMatch.com is a new website where you take a swab of your DNA and send it to the ScientificMatch labs.

On the ScientificMatch website they have a list of six benefits of using DNA matching that include “chances are increased that you’ll love the natural body fragrance of your matches” and “women have a much lower chance of cheating in their exclusive relationships”.

I am not to sure that many people are going to buy into this especially since it costs 2,000 dollars to join and they conduct background checks on all their clients.

  1. Holy moly – $2000? I’d never even thought of using DNA as a matchmaking tool (shows you how innovative and scientific I am), but, well, I’m sure there are a few people out there with the money and the desire to try this. I wonder how it pans out.
