This article is about a brawl that broke out after an mma (mixed martial arts) event. Jake Shields was defending his middleweight title against Dan Henderson. Jake won by unanimous decision. but, after the fight when Jake was being interviewed, he was interrupted by Jason Miller, another fighter who had fought earlier in the night. he approach Jake unannounced and proposed a match for his title. Jake pushed Jason away and when others went to restrain Jason a brawl ensued. while the fight was occurring the ring announcer could be heard yelling, “Stop you are on national television.” this shows that this violent act is actually different from the sanctioned fight beforehand. MMA fights are acceptable violence because it is sport, but brawling after is not acceptable because it is like street fighting.
