Web 3.0

Web 3.0 seems to not only be an enhancement of the web but will start to include the developments of artificial intelligence. Web 2.0 has already been such an advancement from Web 1.0 that it is hard to believe that we could actually make the internet even more sophisticated than it already is. Web 3.0 will just add to people’s already persistent laziness since everything will be able to be done for you.
I researched Web 3.0 further and found this article discussing it. They refer to Web 3.0 as acting as a personal assistant to people. It is a little bit scary to think about all of this artifical intelligence and, if people no longer need personal assistants, many will lose jobs. Web 2.0 already caused many to lose jobs due the enhancement of the technology and taking it further to Web 3.0 will have the same effect.
I find this Web 3.0 to be convenient but am questioning if we are taking it too far. The web already isn;t very much of a private place and Web 3.0 will only allow a computer to analyze your likes and dislikes, almost as though it knows you. The difference is analytical analyses and calculations will never be able to replace human emotions, but it is a little bizarre. What if people begin to depend on their virtual brains in Web 3.0, and stop thinking for themselves but go to their computer for the most sensible answer. I think Web 3.0 is something I personally fear and think where we are now is good enough. People should be happy with how far we have come with technology but their are always going to be those who push everything further.
