I thought I might share these two articles from Elite FTS.
I think it’s interesting how there are so many wacky off-the-wall methods of training, when the body (especially for a novice or intermediate) really does not require all that much complication in training. I think a lot of it has to do with the level of effort required to properly learn certain movements, namely squats. It is understandable, because squats are hard to learn, and must be performed correctly.
Overall, I think that a lot of “common knowledge” circulates around the commercial gym scene, and is backed by little if any science.
I do not expect any responses at such a late date in the semester. But if you are by chance reading this, feel free to post your own intersting gym experience.
