House Phone- Whats that?

leave a comment »

A house phone? What is that ? People still actually have them? Well according to this article http://www.forbes.com/2010/05/13/youth-landline-phones-technology-wireless.html, they are slowly dissapearing. It makes us wonder where technology is going to take us in the future. House phones were always our primary source of communicaiton. Now, its everything from cellphones, the internet, to cell phones. It makes me wonder what direction we are headed in and is it a good one? I can’t help to wonder if something out there will take the place of the computer  I am typing on now. Its a bit frightning to see something that once played such a large role has completely been abandoned. Sometimes I even forget I have a house phone; I ignore it when it rings. If someone needs me, they can call my cell. I think everyone feels that way.
