Facebook Stalking To A New Extreme

leave a comment »

I’ve been seeing a few news articles lately about the new Facebook “Stalker-Friendly” tool that is being tested out among a small group of Facebook users right now. Facebook’s new creation of the “Subscribe to” tool allows you to subscribe to any of your Facebook friends. Once you subscribe to that person, you’ll receive notifications any time they update their status, upload photos, post wall posts, and more. Mine and my friends’ reactions were all the same – that is definitely crossing the line. “Subscribe to” would take “Facebook creeping” to a whole other level. I don’t think I’m alone in saying that it is definitely weird to think any of your Facebook friends can check up on you every time you have activity on Facebook.
