Apple comes out with Solar Charger

leave a comment »

This year, Apple has come out with their first solar charger for the iPhone. This charger fits conveniently and tightly around the phone. With two hours of the solar charger, it enables the phone user to have 30 minutes of talk time on a 3G network, and 60 minutes or one hour on a 2G network. As an extremely new technology feature, the phone has the capability to track your usage, and sync it with the charger. This way, the solar charger provides the user with a planner application that estimates the solar needs of that person. Right now, in the United States, it is being sold for between $69.95-$79.95, and is available in white and black. The charger is supposed to be reaching Europe fairly soon, if it already hasn’t. This charger is beneficial and does conserve some energy. I also think it shows a lot about our society, and how quickly and rapidly we expect to be connected with the internet. It also shows how much we depend on our cellular devices- there are new things being created all the time to enhance our using powers.
