Facebook “Upgrades”…Again

leave a comment »

Mark Zuckerberg took to 60 Minutes to unveil Facebook’s new profile look which once again has users sitting on the fence.  This new profile look has the “Wall”, “Info”, and “Friends” tabs have now been moved under the users profile picture.  Next to the users’ name is their work information , where they live, their education information, who they are in a relationship with, and their birthdate.  The send a message and poke buttons have also moved to the right side of their profile which almost feels more accessible.  Under the info section pictures are now listed with the music, movies, and books that user “likes”.

It seems that every 6 months Facebook changes and each time and there is some frustration with users.  I always see my friends update their status complaining about the change. People become used to the new features and just when they feel comfortable with them Mark Zuckerberg gives Facebook another facelift.  I honestly don’t see the need to keep changing things. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
