Underwater Robot

with one comment

In an article released earlier this week, it has been reported that oceanic research had not been well enough developed. A new underwater robot has been developed by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute that can potentially take underwater research into a whole new world with a mind of its own. The name of this new invention is Tethys, which is the name of a Greek sea goddess. A good name for a robot that is being viewed as the newest and most productive advancement in researching the aquatic atmosphere. Tethy has the ability to travel faster and farther than the vehicles oceanographers currently rely on. It can also stay out at sea for weeks on end and carry larger amounts of scientific instruments than any other competitors out there. Who knows what this can help us find for the future, only Tethys can tell us.
