And The Addiction Continues

With final exams fast approaching, students everywhere are really cramming in studying whenever they can, without fail.  Just kidding.  Student, me included, are looking to procrastinate.  And what better way to procrastinate than by going on Facebook.  Facebook has taken up hours of college students time by sorting through status’, pictures and wall posts, but recently, there is a new killer.  Facebook games.  Facebook has been adopting more and more games from other websites or television, and these have turned into new found treasures for Facebook users.  Here are two of my personal favorite games, which have kept me more than busy procrastinating, and not writing this blog.

Kamikaze Race

Kamikaze Race has been around before Facebook, but I did not discover it until recently.  Kamikaze Race is a very simple game, where you navigate your car through slower traffic, as you go faster and faster to speeds up to 350 miles per hour.  I honestly can’t say why I love this game so much.  The graphics and objectives are low level, and there is only one thing to do in the game.  But I will tell you that I am addicted.  Try for yourself, and you will see why this game has had so many people on their computer, driving their little red car around.

Family Feud

Family Feud is an online adaption from the TV show of the same name, and it has had my entire house crowded around one computer playing.  The tournament mode of the game is really what has got me addicted.  In tournament mode, you play fast money against 2 other real people, and the better you do the more points you get.  This is so much fun playing in a group, because everyone is shouting out answers, and you have to pick the best one, just like in the show.  I would definitely recommend this game, but unfortunately Richard Dawson is not present.

So whenever you don’t want to study for your finals, remember Facebook, except this time play a game or two.  You’ll be procrastinating before you know it!
