Last Train to Paris!

Today, advertising is used everywhere; on buses, in stores, on bus seats, billboards, buildings, the list can go on and on. But there is place that I have never scene advertising and  that’s on the entrance signs of subways. Diddy used the entrance signs to Prince St. and Spring St to promote his new album “Last Train to Paris”. On the signs it displayed “Last Train to Paris. 12.14.10” and were extremely convincing to travelers. Diddy also went to the extent to have people dress as conductors and yell “All Aboard! Last train to Paris!”.  Although New Yorkers knew that it was fake, it was reported that the promotion greatly confused tourists because they thought that Paris was a destination within the city.  This just goes to show that promotional advertising is being used in many different and innovative ways.
