Love at first tweet

I found an article about a site developed to help people find love matches through their twitter profiles. The site was developed by a Pace graduate and is called love@firsttweet. The twitter page allows people to respond to questions posted on the love at first tweet feed and then will match you up with others based on yours and their answers to the questions, you will then get an email with a link to that person’s twitter page and the things you have in common, you will then be able to view their page and contact them.

I actually think this is a really great idea, since so many people use online dating sites, why not integrate one onto something like twitter. People use twitter everyday and this way you only have one website, one password and in a way, more of your personality can be shown than on dating sites where you only list your interests. Since you update and tweet several times a day about what you are doing and your thoughts, someone can get a better feel for your personality and how you view life.
