Strippers in the Classroom?

leave a comment »

In March, a LaSalle University professor decided to bring three strippers to a business symposium in order to teach about business ethics.  Now maybe if he had brought them to just talk, I suppose I could see it working out as an ethical issue…however many people at the event were given lap dancers from the strippers.  Appropriate?  No.

Story Here

How can someone think it’s ok to give students a business lecture in which they receive lap dances.  It doesn’t make any sense. I also don’t understand how this didn’t spread on campus quicker and that the teacher wasn’t fired or suspending immediately.

What do you think the school should do?  What would be a good PR strategy to get out of this and encourage new applicants?
