E-Books on the Rise

For the first time ever the sales of E-books are higher than that of paperback novels. This is a huge development in the literary world. The introduction of the very popular kindle along with other similar readers are some of the huge factors in this increase. My mother is a prime example of this. She would never be caught dead buying a paperback book because she was a diehard library patron but when she got the kindle she started buying multiple books a month. Much like my mother countless other people are going the digital route for their reading. In the future we will only see a rise in these sales. You never know, maybe paperbacks will be obsolete in the next fifty years.
