Nintendo announced over the weekend that they will be unveiling the successor to the Wii this year. This does not come as a surprise since there have been a lot of rumors circulating all over the web that they will be showcasing the “Wii 2” at this years E3 expo in June. As the next gen consoles start rolling out in the next couple of years there will be a lot of speculation on what features they will have and of their capabilities. However, Sony and Microsoft are not slated to make any announcements until 2014 on their next generation console, Nintendo will have an early start on the competition.  This is the early start they did not have with current generation, since the Xbox 360 came out a year earlier than the Wii and PS3, but it has not hindered their success in any way. Since, the Wii is currently the number one selling console. But what is  for certain is that their will be a lot speculation on the new Nintendo system code named “Project Cafe”.
