I came across this article and I chose it because I remember talking in class about the power of technology and especially the power that iPhones have in today’s society. Such phones have allowed people to do almost anything and now there is a new app that allows Catholics to confess themselves. I think this is important because it shows a new twist to the way the iPhone targets audiences. Now, the iphone is using religion as a means to get attract people to their product. I believe that this shows the power that advertising has and the power that technology has in today’s society, since people will most likely feel more inclined with their religious side with this new app, especially since most people are sometimes too busy to go to church or confess themselves and such people will most likely feel like they are being more religious with this new app.
